Philadelphia’s Main Line is one of the most storied, beautiful stretches of suburban Pennsylvania — and it’s where Tranquil Ways operates two of its structured men’s sober living homes. Our Devon home and Malvern home give men in recovery access to upscale, structured housing in communities that are safe, quiet, and genuinely conducive to healing — while staying close to Philadelphia’s employment market, recovery community, and the clinical programming at Provive Wellness Pennsylvania.
What Is the Main Line?
The Main Line refers to the collection of affluent townships stretching west from Philadelphia along the old Pennsylvania Railroad line — Wayne, Devon, Malvern, Berwyn, Paoli, and beyond. These communities in Chester County and Delaware County are known for their excellent quality of life, safety, strong employment base, and proximity to Philadelphia. For men in early recovery, the Main Line offers something invaluable: a calm, stable, beautiful environment far from the noise and triggers of urban settings, while remaining connected to the city’s resources.
Two Homes. One Integrated Program.
Our Devon and Malvern homes are both fully furnished, men-only sober living residences that operate in coordination with Provive Wellness PA. Residents are in active PHP or IOP treatment at Provive — and as they step down through levels of care, their housing stays the same. That consistency is one of the most underrated elements of lasting recovery: the same house, the same community, the same structured environment, even as the clinical intensity evolves.
Each home includes on-site management, structured daily schedules, drug testing, peer accountability, employment support, and transportation assistance. Meals are provided. The goal is to give men every possible advantage while doing the hardest work of their lives.
Why Men Choose Tranquil Ways on the Main Line
The Main Line’s proximity to Philadelphia means residents have access to a dense recovery community — AA and NA meetings run constantly, sponsorship networks are strong, and the employment market is robust. Men leaving our program don’t just leave sober — they leave with jobs, connections, and a foundation built in one of the best areas in Pennsylvania to restart a life.
For men who need housing while in PHP or IOP at Provive, and for men coming from out of state looking for a fresh start in a high-quality environment, the Main Line is hard to beat. And if cost is a concern for PHP patients with active insurance coverage, we encourage you to call before assuming anything — (610) 472-9101.
